Supporting mathematical research in emerging countries

Since 2018 I have been involved in promoting mathematical research in emerging countries and training young mathematicians, particularly in French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa. See my dedicated page.

Academic service

• Member of the Scientific Council of the Société Mathématique de France since 2026
• Member of the jury of agrégation externe de mathématiques since 2024
• Member of the Council of the Fédération de recherche Mathématiques des Hauts de France since 2026
• Member of the Steering Committee of the LPP, since 2026
• From September 2026, Director of Study for the Master 2 program in mathematics, research track, University of Lille

Scientific and mathematical publishing, open science

• Member of the Scientific Committee of Publications mathématiques de Besançon, Algèbre et Théorie des Nombres (open access journal, published by Centre Mersenne), since 2019. In 2025: Assistant Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
• Member of the Steering Committee of the French National Network of Mathematical Libraries (RNBM) and member of its workgroup Information for math professionals, since 2021.
• Speaker for the two sessions of the webinar Publication and open access in mathematics, organised by RNBM for French PhD students in mathematics, April 4 and November 25, 2025.
